How to uninstall Avira from your computer

How to uninstall Avira from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Avira is an application marketed by the software company Avira Operations GmbH & Co. KG. Some users choose to remove this program. Sometimes this is easier said than done because deleting this by hand takes some knowledge regarding Windows internal functioning. One of the best QUICK practice to remove Avira is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general utility to clean your Windows PC.

• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system utility.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the applications existing on the PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Avira or simply click the Search feature and type in "Avira". The Avira application will be found automatically. Notice that after you click Avira in the list of applications, some information regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding Avira, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Avira.


8. After uninstalling Avira, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Avira which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Avira using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your PC.
