A way to remove Ad-Aware using Advanced Uninstaller PRO
Ad-Aware is a program by the software company Lavasoft. Frequently, users try to erase this application. Sometimes this is troublesome because performing this by hand requires some know-how regarding Windows program uninstallation. One of the best SIMPLE procedure to erase Ad-Aware is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general utility to take care of your computer.

- navigate to Download Link
- download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
- install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
3. Press the General Tools category
4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button
5. All the applications existing on the computer will be made available to you
6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Ad-Aware or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Ad-Aware". If it exists on your system the Ad-Aware program will be found automatically. Notice that after you select Ad-Aware in the list of programs, the following data about the application is made available to you:
- Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about Ad-Aware, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
- Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
- Details about the program you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
8. After uninstalling Ad-Aware, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Ad-Aware which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Ad-Aware with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
