How to remove Ad-Aware using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Ad-Aware is a program by Lavasoft. Sometimes, people try to erase this program. This is efortful because removing this by hand takes some skill related to removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best QUICK action to erase Ad-Aware is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your Windows computer.

• download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful program.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs existing on the computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate Ad-Aware or simply click the Search feature and type in "Ad-Aware". If it is installed on your PC the Ad-Aware app will be found very quickly. When you click Ad-Aware in the list of apps, some data regarding the application is available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding Ad-Aware, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Ad-Aware.


8. After removing Ad-Aware, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong Ad-Aware that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing Ad-Aware using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
