A way to uninstall iTunes from your PC

iTunes is a computer program. Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the data below:

A way to uninstall iTunes with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

iTunes is a program released by the software company Apple Computer, Inc.. Some people choose to remove this program. This is troublesome because doing this manually takes some knowledge related to removing Windows programs manually. One of the best EASY manner to remove iTunes is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:

1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your system.


2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire the program's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good program.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature

5. A list of the programs installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find iTunes or simply click the Search feature and type in "iTunes". The iTunes application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select iTunes in the list of programs, the following information regarding the application is shown to you:

  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding iTunes, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the program you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove iTunes.

8. After removing iTunes, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items of iTunes that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling iTunes with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
