How to uninstall Update Service using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Update Service is an application by Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications AB. Some computer users try to uninstall this application. This is easier said than done because uninstalling this manually takes some know-how regarding removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best QUICK way to uninstall Update Service is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general tool to optimize your Windows computer.

• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system utility.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications existing on the PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Update Service or simply click the Search feature and type in "Update Service". If it exists on your system the Update Service app will be found very quickly. When you click Update Service in the list of apps, some data about the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about Update Service, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony Ericsson\Update Service\uninst.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Update Service.


8. After uninstalling Update Service, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of Update Service that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing Update Service with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
