How to uninstall SHAREit from your PC

You can find on this page details on how to uninstall SHAREit for Windows. It was coded for Windows by Lenovo. You can read more on Lenovo or check for application updates here. You can see more info on SHAREit at http://www.lenovo.com/think/support. Usually the SHAREit program is to be found in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Lenovo\SHAREit folder, depending on the user's option during setup. The full command line for removing SHAREit is C:\Program Files (x86)\Lenovo\SHAREit\unins000.exe. Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might receive a notification for admin rights. The application's main executable file has a size of 3.10 MB (3250120 bytes) on disk and is titled Shareit.exe.

If planning to uninstall SHAREit you should check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall SHAREit:

Usually, the following files remain on disk:

A way to delete SHAREit from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SHAREit is a program marketed by Lenovo. Sometimes, computer users want to uninstall this program. Sometimes this is hard because deleting this manually requires some know-how related to PCs. One of the best QUICK way to uninstall SHAREit is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general utility to optimize your system.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good PC management program.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs installed on your computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate SHAREit or simply click the Search feature and type in "SHAREit". If it exists on your system the SHAREit application will be found automatically. Notice that after you click SHAREit in the list , the following information about the application is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have about SHAREit, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for SHAREit:

• The publisher is: http://www.lenovo.com/think/support
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Lenovo\SHAREit\unins000.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. accept the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall SHAREit.


8. After uninstalling SHAREit, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of SHAREit that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling SHAREit with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to run without errors or problems.
