A way to uninstall pyRevit from your computer

pyRevit is a Windows application. Read below about how to uninstall it from your PC. The Windows version was developed by Ehsan Iran-Nejad. You can read more on Ehsan Iran-Nejad or check for application updates here. Please follow https://eirannejad.github.io/pyRevit/ if you want to read more on pyRevit on Ehsan Iran-Nejad's page. Usually the pyRevit program is placed in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\pyRevit-Master directory, depending on the user's option during setup. The entire uninstall command line for pyRevit is C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Caphyon\Advanced Installer\{CA372AB6-355A-4270-91DD-144DF75E1B57}\pyRevit_4.8.8_signed.exe /x {CA372AB6-355A-4270-91DD-144DF75E1B57} AI_UNINSTALLER_CTP=1. pyRevit's primary file takes around 314.14 KB (321680 bytes) and is called pyrevit.exe.

pyRevit installs the following the executables on your PC, taking about 31.13 MB (32643608 bytes) on disk.

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

How to uninstall pyRevit from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

pyRevit is an application released by the software company Ehsan Iran-Nejad. Some computer users choose to remove this program. Sometimes this is troublesome because removing this by hand requires some advanced knowledge regarding removing Windows applications by hand. The best SIMPLE approach to remove pyRevit is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around utility to clean your computer.

• go to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of tools.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications existing on the PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find pyRevit or simply activate the Search field and type in "pyRevit". If it is installed on your PC the pyRevit app will be found automatically. Notice that after you click pyRevit in the list of apps, some data regarding the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding pyRevit, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall pyRevit.


8. After removing pyRevit, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items of pyRevit that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing pyRevit with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your Windows system will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
