How to uninstall iDEX from your PC

A way to uninstall iDEX from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

iDEX is a program offered by the software company Volkswagen AG. Sometimes, computer users want to erase it. This can be troublesome because deleting this by hand takes some experience regarding removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best SIMPLE solution to erase iDEX is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around utility to optimize your PC.

• go to Download Link
• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the programs existing on your computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate iDEX or simply activate the Search field and type in "iDEX". The iDEX application will be found automatically. Notice that after you click iDEX in the list , some data about the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about iDEX, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the program you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for iDEX:

• The publisher is: http://www.volkswagen.de
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\VWAudi\iDEX\uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove iDEX.


8. After uninstalling iDEX, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of iDEX that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling iDEX using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
