How to uninstall eM Client from your PC

Many files, folders and registry data will not be removed when you are trying to remove eM Client from your PC.

Folders that were found:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\eM Client

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be removed; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{D81B8A5C-FB8B-4915-BA3C-35DF7B1E8BF4}

How to uninstall eM Client with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

eM Client is a program by the software company eM Client Inc.. Some users choose to uninstall this program. This can be difficult because deleting this by hand requires some experience regarding Windows internal functioning. One of the best SIMPLE approach to uninstall eM Client is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general utility to clean your Windows PC.

• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications existing on your computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find eM Client or simply click the Search feature and type in "eM Client". If it is installed on your PC the eM Client app will be found automatically. After you select eM Client in the list , the following data regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding eM Client, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the application you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for eM Client:

• The uninstall string is: MsiExec.exe /X{D81B8A5C-FB8B-4915-BA3C-35DF7B1E8BF4}

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall eM Client.


8. After removing eM Client, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong eM Client which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling eM Client using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your system.

Your Windows computer will remain clean, speedy and ready to serve you properly.
