calibre is a Windows program. Many files, folders and registry data can be left behind when you want to remove calibre from your PC.

Folders left behind when you uninstall calibre:

A way to remove calibre from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

calibre is a program marketed by Kovid Goyal. Sometimes, computer users choose to uninstall this application. This can be easier said than done because deleting this by hand requires some advanced knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. 3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the programs existing on your PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find calibre or simply activate the Search feature and type in "calibre". If it is installed on your PC the calibre app will be found automatically. After you select calibre in the list , the following information regarding the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding calibre, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for calibre:

• The software company is: http://calibre-ebook.com
• The uninstall string is: MsiExec.exe /I{3FBA72CD-A3EB-42A2-89DF-DF2366BEA779}

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove calibre.


8. After uninstalling calibre, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of calibre that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling calibre with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your Windows computer will remain clean, speedy and ready to serve you properly.
