How to uninstall calibre from your PC

calibre is a software application. This page holds details on how to remove it from your PC. It is made by Kovid Goyal. Additional info about Kovid Goyal can be found here. You can read more about about calibre at http://calibre-ebook.com. The application is usually placed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Calibre2 folder (same installation drive as Windows). You can remove calibre by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line MsiExec.exe /I{49FA2A5C-8FC3-4BD0-A244-CA01A9250E55}. Note that you might be prompted for administrator rights. calibre's primary file takes about 167.50 KB (171520 bytes) and its name is calibre.exe.

Some files and registry entries are regularly left behind when you remove calibre.

Folders left behind when you uninstall calibre:

A way to delete calibre from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

calibre is a program released by Kovid Goyal. Frequently, people choose to remove this application. • download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the applications installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate calibre or simply activate the Search feature and type in "calibre". If it is installed on your PC the calibre program will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click calibre in the list of programs, some data about the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about calibre, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the program you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall calibre.


8. After removing calibre, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of calibre that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling calibre with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
