Some files, folders and Windows registry entries can not be removed when you want to remove ZIPmagic from your computer.

Folders that were left behind:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Simon King\ZIPmagic 12
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\IDM\DwnlData\UserName\zipmagic_487
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\ZIPmagic 12

The files below remain on your disk by ZIPmagic's application uninstaller when you removed it:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Simon King\ZIPmagic 12\Applications\Commander\mCox.exe
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Simon King\ZIPmagic 12\Applications\Commander\ZIPmagic.cmd
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Simon King\ZIPmagic 12\Applications\DoubleSpace\COPYING.GPLv3.txt

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be cleaned; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\ZIPmagic: Compress
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\ZIPmagic: Sampler
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.1

Open regedit.exe to remove the values below from the Windows Registry:

How to erase ZIPmagic from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

ZIPmagic is a program by the software company Simon King. Some computer users want to uninstall this application. Sometimes this can be efortful because doing this by hand requires some experience related to removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best SIMPLE action to uninstall ZIPmagic is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around utility to optimize your Windows system.

• download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with the program's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of tools.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the programs installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate ZIPmagic or simply click the Search feature and type in "ZIPmagic". If it exists on your system the ZIPmagic app will be found very quickly. After you click ZIPmagic in the list of applications, some information about the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about ZIPmagic, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the app you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove ZIPmagic.


8. After uninstalling ZIPmagic, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong ZIPmagic that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling ZIPmagic using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and ready to serve you properly.
