A guide to uninstall YouTube from your system

You can find below details on how to remove YouTube for Windows. It is written by Maxthon. Additional info about Maxthon can be found here. Usually the YouTube application is found in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Maxthon\Application directory, depending on the user's option during setup. You can uninstall YouTube by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Maxthon\Application\Maxthon.exe. Keep in mind that you might receive a notification for administrator rights. The application's main executable file is named chrome_proxy.exe and it has a size of 974.78 KB (998176 bytes).

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate YouTube or simply activate the Search field and type in "YouTube". If it is installed on your PC the YouTube program will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select YouTube in the list of apps, some information about the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have about YouTube, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the program you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove YouTube.
