How to uninstall Yandex from your system

This web page contains detailed information on how to remove Yandex for Windows. It was developed for Windows by YANDEX. Take a look here for more info on YANDEX. Usually the Yandex application is placed in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Yandex\YandexBrowser\Application folder, depending on the user's option during setup. Yandex's entire uninstall command line is C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Yandex\YandexBrowser\Application\20.8.2.95\Installer\setup.exe. browser.exe is the Yandex's main executable file and it takes close to 3.29 MB (3444976 bytes) on disk.

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

Open regedit.exe to delete the values below from the Windows Registry:

How to delete Yandex from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Yandex is a program offered by YANDEX. Sometimes, computer users decide to erase it. This is easier said than done because uninstalling this manually requires some skill related to PCs. One of the best SIMPLE manner to erase Yandex is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around utility to maximize the performance of your PC.

  • go to Download Link
  • download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good PC management program.

3. Click on the General Tools button

5. A list of the programs existing on the computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Yandex or simply activate the Search field and type in "Yandex". If it is installed on your PC the Yandex program will be found very quickly. After you click Yandex in the list of applications, some data regarding the program is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding Yandex, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the application you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Yandex.
