Write-N-Cite is comprised of the following executables which take 301.50 KB (308736 bytes) on disk:

• UNWISE.EXE (149.50 KB)
• WNCConfig.exe (24.00 KB)
• WriteNCite.exe (128.00 KB)

A considerable amount of files, folders and Windows registry data will not be uninstalled when you want to remove Write-N-Cite from your PC.

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Write-N-Cite

A way to delete Write-N-Cite from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Write-N-Cite is an application released by the software company Refworks. Frequently, computer users want to erase this application. This is difficult because deleting this by hand requires some advanced knowledge regarding removing Windows applications by hand. The best QUICK way to erase Write-N-Cite is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and general tool to take care of your system.

• go to Download Link
• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the programs installed on your computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Write-N-Cite or simply click the Search feature and type in "Write-N-Cite". If it exists on your system the Write-N-Cite program will be found automatically. After you select Write-N-Cite in the list of applications, the following information about the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have about Write-N-Cite, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the application you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Write-N-Cite:

• The web site of the program is: www.refworks.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Refworks\UNWISE.EXE C:\Program Files (x86)\Refworks\INSTALL.LOG

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Write-N-Cite.


8. After uninstalling Write-N-Cite, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Write-N-Cite which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Write-N-Cite with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
