A way to remove Windows Player using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Windows Player is a program by the software company ITVA LLC. Some people want to remove it. Sometimes this is difficult because performing this manually takes some knowledge regarding Windows program uninstallation. 1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and general tool to clean your PC.

  • download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful PC management program.

3. Click on the General Tools button

5. All the applications installed on the computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Windows Player or simply activate the Search field and type in "Windows Player". If it is installed on your PC the Windows Player app will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select Windows Player in the list of applications, the following data about the application is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about Windows Player, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the application you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Windows Player.

8. After removing Windows Player, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of Windows Player which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them.
