How to uninstall WinZip from your PC

A way to uninstall WinZip from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

WinZip is a program offered by WinZip Computing. Some computer users try to uninstall this program. This can be hard because doing this manually takes some knowledge related to PCs. One of the best QUICK solution to uninstall WinZip is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your Windows system.

• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the applications installed on the PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate WinZip or simply activate the Search feature and type in "WinZip". If it exists on your system the WinZip application will be found automatically. After you click WinZip in the list of applications, some data regarding the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding WinZip, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove WinZip.


8. After removing WinZip, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong WinZip that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling WinZip using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
