How to uninstall WinRAR from your PC

WinRAR is a software application. How to delete WinRAR from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

WinRAR is an application marketed by the software company RarLab. Sometimes, computer users decide to uninstall it. This is difficult because doing this manually takes some experience regarding Windows internal functioning. The best QUICK approach to uninstall WinRAR is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and general tool to clean your Windows system.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the applications installed on your PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find WinRAR or simply activate the Search feature and type in "WinRAR". If it is installed on your PC the WinRAR application will be found automatically. Notice that after you select WinRAR in the list of programs, some information about the program is available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about WinRAR, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the app you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall WinRAR.


8. After removing WinRAR, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong WinRAR that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them.
