A way to remove WinDVD using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

WinDVD is a program marketed by the software company sMedio Inc.. Some users choose to remove this application. This is difficult because performing this manually takes some know-how regarding removing Windows programs manually. The best SIMPLE procedure to remove WinDVD is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your Windows computer.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs button

5. A list of the applications existing on your PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find WinDVD or simply click the Search field and type in "WinDVD". If it exists on your system the WinDVD app will be found automatically. Notice that when you select WinDVD in the list of programs, some information regarding the program is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding WinDVD, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the application you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove WinDVD.

8. After removing WinDVD, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of WinDVD which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling WinDVD using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your system.
