How to uninstall WinDVD from your computer

How to uninstall WinDVD from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

WinDVD is a program marketed by Corel Inc.. Sometimes, computer users choose to erase this program. This can be easier said than done because removing this manually requires some advanced knowledge related to PCs. The best EASY action to erase WinDVD is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general utility to optimize your Windows PC.

  • download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's design and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of tools.

3. Click on the General Tools button

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate WinDVD or simply activate the Search feature and type in "WinDVD". If it exists on your system the WinDVD app will be found very quickly. After you select WinDVD in the list of applications, the following data regarding the application is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding WinDVD, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove WinDVD.

8. After removing WinDVD, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong WinDVD that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling WinDVD using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your system.
