How to uninstall WD SmartWare from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

WD SmartWare is an application offered by Western Digital. Some people want to erase it. This is troublesome because deleting this by hand requires some knowledge related to PCs. One of the best SIMPLE manner to erase WD SmartWare is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around tool to clean your Windows computer.

  • download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature

5. A list of the programs existing on your computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate WD SmartWare or simply click the Search field and type in "WD SmartWare". The WD SmartWare program will be found automatically. Notice that when you select WD SmartWare in the list , some data about the application is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about WD SmartWare, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the application you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
