How to delete WD Security from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

WD Security is a program marketed by the software company Western Digital Technologies, Inc.. Sometimes, computer users want to erase this program. Sometimes this is easier said than done because uninstalling this by hand requires some knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. The best EASY way to erase WD Security is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around utility to clean your PC.

  • download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button

5. A list of the applications existing on the computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find WD Security or simply activate the Search field and type in "WD Security". If it exists on your system the WD Security application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select WD Security in the list of apps, the following information about the program is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about WD Security, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the app you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove WD Security.

8. After removing WD Security, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of WD Security which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing WD Security using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
