A guide to uninstall VTuner from your system

VTuner has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall VTuner:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Temp\APC_Temp\vtuner

Usually, the following files are left on disk:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Temp\APC_Temp\vtuner\skin2\App_Normal.png

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the keys below:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\InstallShield_{C381226E-C402-4976-9411-54282F1396D3}

Use regedit.exe to delete the following additional registry values from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Program Files (x86)\GIGABYTE\VTuner\vTuner.exe.ApplicationCompany
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Program Files (x86)\GIGABYTE\VTuner\vTuner.exe.FriendlyAppName
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\bam\State\UserSettings\S-1-5-21-3478604365-3030452617-334506260-1001\\Device\HarddiskVolume3\Program Files (x86)\GIGABYTE\VTuner\vTuner.exe

How to remove VTuner from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VTuner is a program released by GIGABYTE. Some users decide to erase it. Sometimes this can be hard because performing this manually requires some experience related to PCs. One of the best EASY action to erase VTuner is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and general tool to clean your system.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good PC management program.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the programs installed on your computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find VTuner or simply click the Search field and type in "VTuner". If it is installed on your PC the VTuner program will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select VTuner in the list of applications, some data about the application is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about VTuner, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for VTuner:

• The software company is: http://www.GIGABYTE.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information\{C381226E-C402-4976-9411-54282F1396D3}\setup.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall VTuner.


8. After removing VTuner, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of VTuner which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing VTuner with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your system.

Your Windows PC will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
