A way to erase VMware Tools using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VMware Tools is a program released by the software company VMware, Inc.. Some people decide to remove this program. Sometimes this is efortful because doing this by hand requires some advanced knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best QUICK way to remove VMware Tools is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around utility to take care of your Windows computer.

• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs existing on the computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate VMware Tools or simply activate the Search feature and type in "VMware Tools". The VMware Tools app will be found automatically. Notice that after you click VMware Tools in the list of applications, the following data regarding the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding VMware Tools, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove VMware Tools.


8. After removing VMware Tools, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong VMware Tools that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling VMware Tools with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your computer.
