How to uninstall VLC media player from your computer

A way to uninstall VLC media player using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VLC media player is a program by VideoLAN. Some users want to remove this program. Sometimes this can be easier said than done because removing this manually requires some experience regarding Windows program uninstallation. One of the best QUICK procedure to remove VLC media player is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and general tool to take care of your PC.

• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system utility.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications installed on the PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate VLC media player or simply activate the Search field and type in "VLC media player". If it is installed on your PC the VLC media player application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click VLC media player in the list of programs, the following information about the application is available to you:

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove VLC media player.

All the items of VLC media player which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them.
