A way to uninstall VLC media player using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VLC media player is an application marketed by the software company VideoLAN. Some users choose to erase it. This is troublesome because doing this by hand requires some knowledge related to removing Windows programs manually. One of the best QUICK way to erase VLC media player is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and general tool to clean your Windows computer.

• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs existing on the computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate VLC media player or simply click the Search feature and type in "VLC media player". If it is installed on your PC the VLC media player application will be found very quickly. After you click VLC media player in the list of apps, some data regarding the application is available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding VLC media player, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for VLC media player:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove VLC media player.


8. After removing VLC media player, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of VLC media player which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing VLC media player using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your PC.
