How to uninstall VLC from your PC

VLC is a Windows program. Read below about how to remove it from your PC. The Windows release was developed by ajua Custom Installers. More information about ajua Custom Installers can be seen here. Usually the VLC application is placed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\VLC folder, depending on the user's option during setup. You can remove VLC by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line MsiExec.exe /I{927AAF6D-BEF0-4AD1-A274-0FF33AA0F017}. Keep in mind that you might be prompted for admin rights. VLC's main file takes about 106.00 KB (108544 bytes) and its name is vlc.exe.

VLC is comprised of the following executables which occupy 263.50 KB (269824 bytes) on disk:

• spad-setup.exe (53.00 KB)
• vlc-cache-gen.exe (104.50 KB)
• vlc.exe (106.00 KB)

A way to uninstall VLC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VLC is a program offered by the software company ajua Custom Installers. Some users choose to remove it. 3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs installed on the PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find VLC or simply click the Search field and type in "VLC". If it is installed on your PC the VLC application will be found very quickly. When you click VLC in the list of programs, some data regarding the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding VLC, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall VLC.


8. After removing VLC, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong VLC that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
