A way to uninstall VHS from your PC

Here you can find details on how to uninstall it from your PC. The Windows version was developed by RewindApp. More information on RewindApp can be found here. VHS is commonly installed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\VHS folder, depending on the user's option. VHS's complete uninstall command line is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steam.exe. VHS.exe is the programs's main file and it takes about 651.00 KB (666624 bytes) on disk.

VHS is comprised of the following executables which take 1.70 MB (1779392 bytes) on disk:

  • UnityCrashHandler64.exe (1.06 MB)
  • VHS.exe (651.00 KB)
If planning to uninstall VHS you should check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the keys below:
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Steam App 3074340


A way to erase VHS from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VHS is a program offered by RewindApp. Sometimes, computer users choose to uninstall this application. 2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools category

5. A list of the programs installed on the computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find VHS or simply activate the Search feature and type in "VHS". If it exists on your system the VHS application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select VHS in the list of applications, the following data regarding the application is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding VHS, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the application you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall VHS.

8. After uninstalling VHS, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong VHS that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling VHS using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
