Many files, folders and registry data can not be deleted when you are trying to remove VAIO Care from your computer.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall VAIO Care:

• C:\Program Files\UserName\VAIO Care

Files remaining:

• C:\Program Files\UserName\VAIO Care\_FS_SWRINFO\crc.info
• C:\Program Files\UserName\VAIO Care\_FS_SWRINFO\files.info
• C:\Program Files\UserName\VAIO Care\EnableRDVDL.txt
• C:\Program Files\UserName\VAIO Care\rdvdl_ver.txt

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the data below:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{36C5BBF0-E5BF-4DE1-B684-7E90B0C93FB5}

A way to uninstall VAIO Care from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VAIO Care is a program marketed by the software company Sony Corporation. Sometimes, users choose to erase it. This is troublesome because doing this by hand takes some advanced knowledge related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best EASY way to erase VAIO Care is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and general utility to take care of your computer.

• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire the program's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications existing on the computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate VAIO Care or simply click the Search feature and type in "VAIO Care". The VAIO Care application will be found automatically. Notice that after you select VAIO Care in the list of apps, the following data about the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about VAIO Care, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the program you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. accept the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove VAIO Care.


8. After uninstalling VAIO Care, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of VAIO Care which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing VAIO Care using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your system.

Your Windows system will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
