Following the uninstall process, the application leaves leftovers on the computer. Part_A few of these are shown below.

Folders left behind when you uninstall Uplay:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Ubisoft\Uplay

Generally, the following files are left on disk:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Ubisoft\Uplay\Uninstall.lnk
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Ubisoft\Uplay\Uplay.lnk

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\uplay
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Uplay

A way to uninstall Uplay from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the applications installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Uplay or simply click the Search feature and type in "Uplay". If it exists on your system the Uplay app will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select Uplay in the list of programs, some information about the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about Uplay, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the app you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Uplay.


8. After removing Uplay, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of Uplay that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing Uplay with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
