UltraCompare has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

Many times the following registry data will not be uninstalled:

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\IDM Computer Solutions\UltraCompare Pro
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\E322FE11BCCCCCB419D8AEE495DF50FE
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\IDM Computer Solutions\UltraCompare
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\InstallShield_{11EF223E-CCCB-4BCC-918D-EA4E59FD05EF}

Use regedit.exe to remove the following additional values from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\E322FE11BCCCCCB419D8AEE495DF50FE\ProductName

How to erase UltraCompare from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

UltraCompare is an application by IDM Computer Solutions, Inc.. Frequently, computer users decide to uninstall this application. Sometimes this is troublesome because uninstalling this manually takes some skill related to PCs. One of the best QUICK procedure to uninstall UltraCompare is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around utility to take care of your Windows computer.

• download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows tool.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs installed on your computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate UltraCompare or simply activate the Search field and type in "UltraCompare". If it exists on your system the UltraCompare application will be found automatically. Notice that after you click UltraCompare in the list , some information about the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other people have about UltraCompare, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for UltraCompare:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information\{11EF223E-CCCB-4BCC-918D-EA4E59FD05EF}\setup.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove UltraCompare.


8. After uninstalling UltraCompare, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong UltraCompare that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling UltraCompare using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your Windows PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to serve you properly.
