A guide to uninstall U-Scan from your system

U-Scan is a Windows application. Read more about how to remove it from your PC. The Windows version was created by Acteon Imaging. Additional info about Acteon Imaging can be read here. More information about U-Scan can be seen at . The program is frequently placed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Acteon Imaging\Intraoral U-Scan directory (same installation drive as Windows). You can uninstall U-Scan by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information\{766E650A-F2D3-4DFD-B70D-609483F8E8D5}\setup.exe. Note that you might get a notification for administrator rights. U-Scan's primary file takes about 1.71 MB (1790976 bytes) and its name is LuminX_Test.exe.

U-Scan contains of the executables below. They take 3.32 MB (3484160 bytes) on disk.

How to remove U-Scan with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

U-Scan is an application offered by Acteon Imaging. Frequently, users choose to remove this application. This can be easier said than done because performing this manually requires some knowledge regarding removing Windows applications by hand. The best EASY approach to remove U-Scan is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and all around tool to clean your PC.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful program.

3. Click on the General Tools button

4. Press the Uninstall Programs button

5. All the applications existing on the computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate U-Scan or simply activate the Search feature and type in "U-Scan". The U-Scan application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click U-Scan in the list of programs, some data about the program is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about U-Scan, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the app you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall U-Scan.

8. After removing U-Scan, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of U-Scan which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling U-Scan with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your computer.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
