A way to uninstall Twitter from your PC

Twitter is a Windows application. Read below about how to remove it from your PC. It was created for Windows by Maxthon. Check out here for more information on Maxthon. The application is often located in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Maxthon\Application folder (same installation drive as Windows). You can remove Twitter by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Maxthon\Application\Maxthon.exe. Note that you might get a notification for admin rights. The program's main executable file is named chrome_proxy.exe and it has a size of 1.03 MB (1077024 bytes).

A way to delete Twitter with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Twitter is a program offered by the software company Maxthon. Some users want to erase this application. Sometimes this can be difficult because deleting this by hand takes some advanced knowledge regarding Windows program uninstallation. One of the best QUICK approach to erase Twitter is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and general tool to clean your PC.

3. Press the General Tools category

5. All the programs installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find Twitter or simply click the Search field and type in "Twitter". If it exists on your system the Twitter application will be found automatically. Notice that after you select Twitter in the list , some information about the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about Twitter, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. accept the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Twitter.


8. After removing Twitter, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of Twitter which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing Twitter using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
