System Mechanic has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

Frequently the following registry data will not be cleaned:
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{95129D61-FF52-4FA8-A403-3E31FC5D9696}

Open regedit.exe to delete the registry values below from the Windows Registry:
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Program Files\iolo technologies\System Mechanic\SystemMechanic.exe.ApplicationCompany

How to delete System Mechanic from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

System Mechanic is an application offered by the software company iolo Technologies, LLC. Sometimes, computer users want to remove it. 3. Press the General Tools category

5. All the applications existing on the computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find System Mechanic or simply click the Search field and type in "System Mechanic". If it is installed on your PC the System Mechanic program will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select System Mechanic in the list of apps, the following information about the application is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about System Mechanic, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the app you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall System Mechanic.

8. After uninstalling System Mechanic, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup.
