How to uninstall Splunk from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Splunk is a program released by the software company Splunk, Inc.. Some users decide to remove this application. Sometimes this can be hard because uninstalling this manually takes some experience regarding removing Windows applications by hand. The best SIMPLE manner to remove Splunk is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around utility to optimize your Windows PC.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs installed on the PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate Splunk or simply click the Search field and type in "Splunk". The Splunk app will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select Splunk in the list of applications, some data about the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have about Splunk, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Splunk.


8. After uninstalling Splunk, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Splunk that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing Splunk using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
