A guide to uninstall SnapGene from your system

SnapGene is a software application. A way to uninstall SnapGene from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SnapGene is a program marketed by GSL Biotech LLC. Some people want to uninstall this program. Sometimes this can be difficult because removing this by hand takes some experience regarding removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best SIMPLE way to uninstall SnapGene is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around utility to optimize your PC.

  • go to Download Link
  • download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful PC management program.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button
Go to Uninstall Programs


5. A list of the applications installed on the computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate SnapGene or simply activate the Search feature and type in "SnapGene". If it is installed on your PC the SnapGene app will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select SnapGene in the list , the following information regarding the application is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding SnapGene, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the program you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\SnapGene\Uninstall.exe
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove SnapGene.

8. After uninstalling SnapGene, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong SnapGene that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling SnapGene with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your computer.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and ready to run without errors or problems.
