How to uninstall SmartTPM from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SmartTPM is a program released by GIGABYTE. Frequently, people try to erase this program. Sometimes this is hard because doing this manually takes some experience regarding Windows program uninstallation. The best SIMPLE approach to erase SmartTPM is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:

1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your Windows computer.

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature

5. All the programs existing on the computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find SmartTPM or simply activate the Search field and type in "SmartTPM". If it is installed on your PC the SmartTPM app will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select SmartTPM in the list of applications, the following information about the application is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about SmartTPM, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall SmartTPM.

8. After removing SmartTPM, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of SmartTPM that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling SmartTPM with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your PC.
