How to uninstall SimCity™ from your PC

SimCity™ is a Windows application. A way to erase SimCity™ from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SimCity™ is a program marketed by the software company Electronic Arts. Some people decide to erase it. Sometimes this is easier said than done because uninstalling this manually requires some experience related to PCs. The best EASY way to erase SimCity™ is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:

1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general tool to clean your Windows computer.

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system utility.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button

5. All the applications installed on your computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find SimCity™ or simply activate the Search feature and type in "SimCity™". The SimCity™ program will be found very quickly. When you click SimCity™ in the list of applications, some information about the application is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about SimCity™, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the application you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\EAInstaller\SimCity\Cleanup.exe
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall SimCity™.

8. After removing SimCity™, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong SimCity™ that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing SimCity™ using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your system.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to serve you properly.
