How to uninstall Shift from your computer

Shift is a software application. This page contains details on how to remove it from your computer. It was developed for Windows by Shift. More information about Shift can be seen here. Shift is commonly installed in the C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Shift folder, but this location may differ a lot depending on the user's decision while installing the program. The full command line for uninstalling Shift is C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Shift\Update.exe --uninstall. Keep in mind that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might receive a notification for administrator rights. Shift's main file takes about 1.74 MB (1825792 bytes) and its name is squirrel.exe.

How to erase Shift from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Shift is an application by the software company Shift. Some computer users want to erase it. Sometimes this is difficult because doing this by hand takes some knowledge regarding removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best QUICK manner to erase Shift is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around utility to clean your Windows PC.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the programs installed on the PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Shift or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Shift". The Shift program will be found automatically. Notice that when you select Shift in the list of applications, the following data about the application is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have about Shift, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Shift.


8. After removing Shift, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of Shift which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Shift using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
