Some files, folders and Windows registry data will not be deleted when you are trying to remove SecureIT from your computer.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall SecureIT:
  • C:\Program Files\SecureIT
  • C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\SecureIT
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Temp\SecureIT

The files below were left behind on your disk by SecureIT's application uninstaller when you removed it:
  • C:\Program Files\SecureIT\bin\Antispam.dll
  • C:\Program Files\SecureIT\bin\bdfirewall.txt
  • C:\Program Files\SecureIT\bin\BdFirewallSDK.dll
  • C:\Program Files\SecureIT\bin\bdfltlib.dll

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be cleaned; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

Open regedit.exe to delete the values below from the Windows Registry:
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shell\Scan with SecureIT\Icon
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shell\Scan with SecureIT\command\
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shell\Scan with SecureIT\Icon
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shell\Scan with SecureIT\command\
