How to uninstall SPIP from your computer

A way to uninstall SPIP using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SPIP is a program marketed by the software company Image Metrology. Sometimes, computer users decide to remove it. This is efortful because deleting this by hand takes some advanced knowledge regarding PCs. One of the best EASY approach to remove SPIP is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your Windows computer.

  • download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature

5. A list of the programs installed on the PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find SPIP or simply click the Search field and type in "SPIP". If it is installed on your PC the SPIP app will be found automatically. After you select SPIP in the list of apps, some information about the application is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about SPIP, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the program you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall SPIP.

8. After uninstalling SPIP, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of SPIP which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling SPIP using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and ready to run without errors or problems.
