How to uninstall SCHIP from your PC

This web page is about SCHIP for Windows. Keep in mind that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might be prompted for admin rights. jabswitch.exe is the programs's main file and it takes about 46.88 KB (48008 bytes) on disk.

The current web page applies to SCHIP version 14.0.6 only. If you are manually uninstalling SCHIP we advise you to verify if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Usually, the following files remain on disk:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\SCHIP.lnk

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the data below:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{2BAA8880-B387-4F6D-84A1-694AD705DCB1}

Use regedit.exe to delete the following additional registry values from the Windows Registry:

How to uninstall SCHIP from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SCHIP is a program released by the software company Contaduria General de la Nación. Sometimes, users try to erase this program. This can be difficult because deleting this by hand takes some advanced knowledge related to PCs. One of the best EASY procedure to erase SCHIP is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around tool to maximize the performance of your Windows PC.

• download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the applications existing on the computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate SCHIP or simply activate the Search feature and type in "SCHIP". If it exists on your system the SCHIP application will be found very quickly. After you select SCHIP in the list of applications, the following data about the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about SCHIP, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the app you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for SCHIP:

• The publisher is: http://www.chip.gov.co
• The uninstall string is: RunDll32

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall SCHIP.


8. After uninstalling SCHIP, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong SCHIP which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling SCHIP using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your system.
