Many files, folders and registry entries can not be removed when you want to remove RimWorld from your computer.

Check for and remove the following files from your disk when you uninstall RimWorld:

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the data below:
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Ludeon Studios\RimWorld by Ludeon Studios
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\RimWorld_is1

Open regedit.exe in order to remove the following registry values:
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\D:\RimWorld\RimWorldWin64.exe.FriendlyAppName
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\bam\State\UserSettings\S-1-5-21-1599190627-1210287641-2294220548-1001\\Device\HarddiskVolume4\RimWorld\unins001.exe


A way to remove RimWorld with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

RimWorld is a program offered by the software company Ludeon Studios. Frequently, computer users decide to remove this program. 6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate RimWorld or simply click the Search field and type in "RimWorld". The RimWorld program will be found automatically. Notice that after you select RimWorld in the list of programs, some data about the application is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about RimWorld, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the program you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
