You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be removed; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

Open regedit.exe to delete the values below from the Windows Registry:
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Program Files (x86)\Auntec\RecMaster\RecMaster.exe.ApplicationCompany
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Program Files (x86)\Auntec\RecMaster\RecMaster.exe.FriendlyAppName


A way to erase RecMaster from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

RecMaster is an application by the software company Auntec Co., Ltd.. Sometimes, users decide to remove this program. This is difficult because deleting this manually requires some knowledge regarding PCs. One of the best SIMPLE procedure to remove RecMaster is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around utility to clean your Windows computer.

  • download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system utility.

3. Click on the General Tools button

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature

5. All the applications installed on your computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find RecMaster or simply activate the Search field and type in "RecMaster". The RecMaster program will be found automatically. Notice that when you click RecMaster in the list of apps, some information regarding the application is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding RecMaster, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the program you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Auntec\RecMaster\unins000.exe
7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove RecMaster.

8. After removing RecMaster, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong RecMaster that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing RecMaster with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
