How to uninstall Readability from your computer

This page contains complete information on how to remove Readability for Windows. It was developed for Windows by University of Surrey. You can find out more on University of Surrey or check for application updates here. The application is often installed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\VSTO\10.0 folder (same installation drive as Windows). You can remove Readability by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\VSTO\10.0\VSTOInstaller.exe /Uninstall file:///C:/Users/QUENTI~1/AppData/Local/Temp/Rar$EXa0.285/ReadabilityPluginTrial/Readability.vsto. Keep in mind that you might be prompted for admin rights. Readability's main file takes around 80.65 KB (82584 bytes) and is named VSTOInstaller.exe.

How to delete Readability with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Readability is an application released by University of Surrey. Some computer users try to erase it. Sometimes this is efortful because removing this manually takes some skill regarding removing Windows applications by hand.   • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire the program's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system utility.

3. Click on the General Tools category

5. A list of the applications installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Readability or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Readability". If it is installed on your PC the Readability app will be found very quickly. When you select Readability in the list , the following information about the application is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about Readability, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the application you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Readability.

8. After uninstalling Readability, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Readability which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Readability with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your computer.
