A guide to uninstall QuickConnect from your computer

After the uninstall process, the application leaves some files behind on the computer. Part_A few of these are listed below.

The files below are left behind on your disk by QuickConnect's application uninstaller when you removed it:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Qwest\QuickConnect\QuickConnectLaunch.exe

Registry that is not removed:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Tracing\QuickConnect_RASAPI32
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Tracing\QuickConnect_RASMANCS

Open regedit.exe to delete the registry values below from the Windows Registry:

How to erase QuickConnect with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

QuickConnect is a program by Qwest. Frequently, computer users try to erase this application. Sometimes this can be easier said than done because deleting this by hand requires some knowledge regarding removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best EASY way to erase QuickConnect is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around tool to optimize your PC.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire the program's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the programs existing on the PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find QuickConnect or simply activate the Search field and type in "QuickConnect". If it exists on your system the QuickConnect program will be found automatically. Notice that after you click QuickConnect in the list of programs, the following data regarding the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding QuickConnect, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for QuickConnect:

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove QuickConnect.


8. After removing QuickConnect, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong QuickConnect that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing QuickConnect using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your Windows computer will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
