If you are manually uninstalling Pure Codec we recommend you to verify if the following data is left behind on your PC.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall Pure Codec:
  • C:\Program Files\Pure Codec

The files below remain on your disk by Pure Codec's application uninstaller when you removed it:
  • C:\Program Files\Pure Codec\Codecs\PureSet.exe

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the data below:
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\PureCodec


How to erase Pure Codec from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Pure Codec is a program marketed by Dio. Frequently, people choose to erase it. 1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general tool to clean your system.

  • download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire the program's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful program.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool

5. A list of the applications existing on your PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Pure Codec or simply click the Search field and type in "Pure Codec". The Pure Codec app will be found automatically. Notice that when you select Pure Codec in the list of apps, the following data regarding the application is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding Pure Codec, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.

8. After uninstalling Pure Codec, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Pure Codec which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
