After the uninstall process, the application leaves some files behind on the PC. Some of these are shown below.

A way to remove Project Zomboid from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO
Project Zomboid is an application marketed by the software company GOG.com. Sometimes, computer users choose to remove it. 6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Project Zomboid or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Project Zomboid". The Project Zomboid application will be found very quickly. After you select Project Zomboid in the list , some data regarding the program is shown to you:
- Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding Project Zomboid, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
- Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
- Details regarding the program you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
For example you can see that for Project Zomboid:
- The publisher is: http://www.gog.com
- The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Project Zomboid\unins000.exe
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Project Zomboid.

8. After removing Project Zomboid, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Project Zomboid which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Project Zomboid using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your system.
