How to uninstall PostgreSQL from your computer

PostgreSQL is a Windows application. Read below about how to uninstall it from your computer. It was coded for Windows by BigSQL. More information on BigSQL can be seen here. PostgreSQL is typically installed in the C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL folder, subject to the user's decision. The full command line for removing PostgreSQL is C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\uninstall\uninstall.exe. Keep in mind that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may receive a notification for administrator rights. The program's main executable file is named postmaster.exe and it has a size of 6.65 MB (6975340 bytes).

A way to erase PostgreSQL with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

  • Details regarding the app you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove PostgreSQL.
