How to uninstall PPSSPP from your PC

After the uninstall process, the application leaves leftovers on the PC. Some of these are listed below.

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be cleaned; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\PPSSPP_is1

Use regedit.exe to remove the following additional values from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\D:\PPSSPP\PPSSPPWindows64.exe.ApplicationCompany
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\D:\PPSSPP\PPSSPPWindows64.exe.FriendlyAppName

A way to erase PPSSPP with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

PPSSPP is an application marketed by PPSSPP Team. Some computer users want to remove it. • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs existing on your PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find PPSSPP or simply activate the Search feature and type in "PPSSPP". If it is installed on your PC the PPSSPP app will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click PPSSPP in the list of programs, the following information regarding the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding PPSSPP, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for PPSSPP:

• The web site of the program is: https://www.ppsspp.org
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\PPSSPP\unins000.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall PPSSPP.


8. After uninstalling PPSSPP, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of PPSSPP that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling PPSSPP with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
